#EK2015

Disclaimer: I would like to apologize in advance. Please bear me for using low quality photos, because well, I never knew I would make a blog out of it. Haha. This blog is just so-so if you would rate it. It doesn't include that much of information. I'ts more on me, sharing my experiences on the said theme park rather than giving you information. Also I am currently writing this blog around 2AM so I apologize if I do have commit mistakes and wrong grammar. I just want to finish this one up before going to sleep. haha

Enchanted Kingdom abbreviated as EK is a theme park in the Philippines. It is located in Santa Rosa, Laguna, about 39 kilometers from Manila. It has a land area of 17 hectares and is quite popular specially to the youth who is looking for extreme fun and thrilling rides. So me and my friends agreed to celebrate my birthday at Enchanted Kingdom. I was a bit hesitant at first since as a Lagunense (a term used for people who lives in Laguna, for those who's not familiar with it) I've already been in Enchanted Kingdom for like 2 to 4 times and I'm thinking that maybe celebrating my birthday here would not be so special at all. But my friend's kept on insisting that what would really matter is to have fun and just enjoy my day. Well after all, who would not enjoy if all the expenses will be shouldered by me? Right? haha.

So moving on, the day has finally come and well, what can you say? We ended up celebrating my birthday at EK. I admit, I'm still quite excited about going to Enchanted even though I have been here many times. I'm pretty sure that the rides still gives me this amazing feeling of nervousness and excitement. Our first stop is at SM Calamba, well, we need to fill ourselves first before we can have some fun. Because just a friendly reminder, foods inside Enchanted Kingdom is hella expensive and you're not allowed to bring any kind of food inside. So it's better to fill up yourself first outside instead of spending a lot of money inside.

We took our lunch at Chicken Charlie, a chicken restaurant located at SM City Calamba. It was sunday when we made our trip and the mall is filled with a lot of customers and a lot of people trying to shop for the upcoming Christmas Day. To be completely honest, I haven't enjoyed my meal. We ordered a combo set that includes 4 drumsticks and 4 chicken wings for P315 and we added 4 pcs of rice and 4pcs of salads and drinks as well. Our total sums up to P600 plus or something, I'm not quite sure.

(Here's what we ordered )
(looks appetizing right? :D )

So what's wrong with the dish? Simple. The chicken. What I love the most with chicken is the skin. We all love it, right? But imagine, eating your chicken without any taste. The chicken even the inside part taste so bland and I was so pissed by that. So this is what I get for waiting more than 30 minutes and paying that much? A bland chicken? We tried to ask for gravy or anything that could help it taste much better but they've told us that what they were serving are Greasy Chicken. I was like, is this a GREASY CHICKEN?? because to be honest, it doesn't taste like it. I've tried greasy chicken a lot of times but I've never encounter a greasy chicken this tasteless. I was about to go to the manager and complain about the taste but another customer was ranting behind our table. They were waiting for like 1 hour and they still haven't got their order so my friend just told me to just eat it because atleast, we got our order in time. And we are able to eat something since we are really hungry that time and we don't even want to wait anymore. And we don't have a choice anyways, since all other fastfoods and restaurants inside the mall we're already full of customers. So yeah, whatever. We just ate the damn thing and enjoyed our lunch.

Around 2:00pm, we finally arrived at our destination. The Enchanted Kingdom! It's still the same Enchanted Kingdom that I used to visit years ago, except they added some new rides that I never tried before. It was my birthday that time so I was able to get inside for free as long as I can give them a copy of my NSO Birth Certificate. This privilege can be availed during the celebrant's actual birthday or within what we consider as their birth week (7 days before or after the actual birthday, actual date is included in the count) And also, not just that, your barkada would also avail 10% discount on Regular Day Pass tickets and would also get a 5% discounts on meal purchases at the park restaurant.

(While in the queue for my favorite ride, Space Shuttle )

I would never consider this ride my favorite for nothing. This ride is the real deal. The space shuttle is a thrilling roller coaster ride that turns upside-down 6 times! 3 times forwards and 3 times backwards. And all of that in 2 minutes! You will surely experience the exhilarating encounter with gravity, whichever seat is selected. But if you want to completely feel the greatness of this ride, i recommend you sit at the end of this ride.

(This trip would never end without my solo picture. Hahaha)

(Queue for Rio Grande Rapids)

We waited for a long time for this one. The queue was really long. And when I say, "REALLY LONG" i mean it. hahaha. We waited for like 1 and 1/2 hours just to try this ride. Rushing over rough waters, this is a really unforgettable experience. Waiting for each other to get wet is part of the thrill. You should expect to get wet by this ride! But no worries, there's a dry machine just outside this ride so if you have the budget, I recommend you try it :)

(The 7D Experience)

This one's definitely my favorite. I totally enjoyed this one even though we tried this at almost the closing time of the park. We played the Zombie theme one and it was really thrilling. It definitely feels like you're inside the game and the zombies are coming after you. You would even feel the gravity whenever you're falling on the game.

This blog doesn't contain that much and won't even help you if you're looking for additional info about Enchanted Kingdom. These are just my mere experiences inside the park. Since I've been here many times, I never thought I would enjoy this trip that much. I even forgot to take photos since I was so busy having fun! (All the clear photos are the one's I've took #justsaying) We're also planning on getting back here and I assure you guys that I would make a new blog about this and it would be more interesting than this one.

Just a tip for people who wants to enjoy the theme park. Avoid going on weekends and holiday week (7 days before or after the actual holiday) because I'm pretty sure that the park are full of people during those days, unless you are okay to wait for like 1 hour every ride, then okay. It's your choice. And to enjoy your trip here, it would be better if you visit the park as early as possible. It opens around 10AM - 11AM. If you're that into rides that much, I prefer you go to the park as early as possible so you could try every ride.

Enchanted Kingdom is a great place for family and for barkadas. And is totally recommendable!
